During JC, I vividly recall being terrible at Economics. I'd grasp concepts quickly but fail in applying them correctly. There came a time when I would flunk all my Econs tests because I just wouldn't care to put in effort anymore. After all, why should I put effort into a subject that wasn't my forté? Ruminating thoughts like these were oft a no-brainer. At least, that's what I'd thought. Self-defeating thoughts like these never ceased until I chanced upon Cleon.

He was my tutor for one and a half years and was undoubtedly the best tutor I've ever had. Why? Truth is, these checkboxes often go unchecked by many tutors in Singapore. Not Cleon, though. When other tutors go one mile, he goes seven, and that sums him up as a tutor and a great friend.

Mr Cleon has a very firm grasp on the subject material. More importantly, he is able to dissect abstract concepts and illustrate them in an easily digestible manner. Closer to exam season, he offered additional lessons which I believe demonstrates his commitment to ensuring his students' success.

I also found that he has a very likable disposition, which helped to curate a conducive and rather enjoyable learning environment. (P.S: He treated me like food, I don't know how many times, and was my personal therapist, so like sign up for tuition fr)

Cleon is a very passionate and understanding teacher who allowed me to have a better grasp of Econs and even made me love the subject when I started out hating it! He is very patient and understands his students' needs and preferences, making learning extremely engaging and easier to understand.

He was very patient in explaining to me concepts I was weak in, and built my confidence to tackle the A level examinations.
